Road show

On completion of the accelerator program, portfolio companies will be taken on an investor road show that includes a mixture of investor focused Australian and North American promotional and networking events.

Mentors

Ignition Labs draws its experience from a pool of mentors, each with entrepreneurial experience, skills and experience in the clean technology industry, or a significant clean technology industry and investor network.

Program

The accelerator program arms portfolio founders with the business tools and processes necessary to validate their idea and refine their technology in a condensed time frame.

Cash

Successful applicants will receive a $25,000 investment. This is ideal for early stage businesses who need enough to kick-off the start-up journey.

Key   dates

Applications close on 27 may. Selection and offers will be made by by mid-June and the program will start on 16 July. The Australian and US roadshows will commence in mid-October.

Selection

The selection process will involve all the mentors reviewing the applications and a limited number of teams invited for interviews. Offers will be made immediately after.

Start

The 3 month full-time program will start 16 July, when the teams will join the 50 technology businesses and 300 people at ATP Innovations.

Accelerator

Ignition Labs is an accelerator for early stage clean technologies. Selected businesses enter an intensive development program that converts early stage ideas into fundable businesses over 3-months. This is achieved through leverage of a structured development and validation program, experienced mentors, cash investment and an investor roadshow in the USA.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the accelerator program you will have a strong team with a validated concept, or an early prototype, designed to reduce the use of finite resources or increase the use of renewable energy. These solutions must be a scalable product and/or service.

Portfolio

We are looking for five clean technology businesses to join the accelerator. Applications close 27 May 2012.
